In the town of Barnacle Bay, a creature lurks. He's come from the ocean, in search of others like him. He is. a fishboy named SASHIMI! To fit in with humans, Sashimi sneaks into an elementary school and pretends to be a student. But he's clearly a fish out of water! Dan Santat has published over 100 books for children. His most notable works include A First Time for Everything (A National Book Award winner), The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend (Caldecott Medal winner), Are We There Yet?
