Overview

With her life in turmoil, Jess is navigating her junior year of high school. After her mother loses her battle to cancer and throughout her father's losing battle with depression, she meets ""the homeless kid"" who lives in the woods. She is a Language Arts teacher, finishing her twenty-third year of public-school teaching in a variety of schools, districts and states.
