Overview

Ruth was a young woman of Moab, the great-grandmother of David. She was poor, but was helped by an older woman to overcome the difficulties she faced. She listen to the advice given to her by Naomi, to whom Ruth gave unfaltering loyalty. The story of Ruth illustrates the triumph of courage and ingenuity over adverse circumstances.
