Overview

""A Familiar Future"" takes place 400 years in the future during a dark time in history filled with power-hungry men, a corrupt government, overpopulation, and a dying planet. All of this and more is due to the life-extending ""miracle drug"" known as the Cortezeon Pill. This is also the world Lieutenant Brian Watson has grown up in. It is the world in which he struggles to raise his only son. Brian will do anything for his boy, and when a promotion is offered, he must take it. What he doesn't know is that this promotion will force him to join a fight that might not be worth fighting. Even if helping the cruel government which Brian aimlessly follows will make his son's future supposedly better.
