Author Information

Jason Gropp is self-labelled introvert who likes people, and a rule follower who questions everything. He is also an elementary educator who lives and works in Waterloo Region, Ontario. As a teacher he aspires to find what is special in each student and build on it, so they are better equipped to navigate through life-a theme that is reflected in his writing. Although A Dreary and Glorious Snapshot is Jason's first book, he has been an avid reader all his life and a passionate consumer of art in many forms-especially music. Among his favourite producers of art are Pink Floyd, Minor Threat, Marina Abramovic, and Vordb Na R.iidr, who has written the foreword for this book. With the publication of this book, Jason is excited to move beyond being just a consumer of art to actually creating it, as he feels art is important, beautiful, and has the power to heal.
