""A Drama of Reform"" is the story of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal - the new order founded by Fr. Benedict Groeschel and other religious people- and of the first two decades of a reform in religious life begun by this group of Americans in 1987. United in the desire to be authentic disciples of Jesus Christ, following in the footsteps of Saint Francis, they want to encourage Christians of all denominations who are disheartened by the erosion of Gospel values in our culture.

Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFR is the director of the Office of Spiritual Development for the New York Archdiocese. He has written numerous books on the spiritual life and pastoral counseling. He is a member of the Franciscans of the Renewal who preach evangelical reform and work with the homeless in the South Bronx.
