A Day at the Ministry

Overview

Two high-flyer friends fight to overcome problems that stifle their creativity: a university student about to graduate is held back by his jealous - and intellectually mediocre - father; an experienced civil servant is given menial tasks far below his potential. But the pair complement each other's strengths.  The civil servant agrees to show his student friend the working atmosphere inside his ministry. However, the undergraduate is not allowed to speak inside the office in case his style annoys the management. He makes up for this silence by bombarding his older friend with questions in food and cigarette breaks. At first this puts a heavy strain on the friendship until they both realise how much they can help each other.
