Overview

They say fire-conjurers are extinct. Turns out...no. I'm Whistle: traveling entertainer, decent dancer, mediocre singer, and apparently the one thing that can get my entire family killed. The thing is that I didn't know, so...there's that. One performance. One moment when the fire from the torches got a little too excited, and it looked (and felt) like magic. But sorcerers are hunted for sport, so the king will have me in chains as soon as he gets word. And since the laws say he can execute those who harbor me, aka, my family, they're all now in danger. I just want them to be safe. And I'd give myself up to make that happen. But a nobleman saw what I did, and his captain took us ALL prisoner. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. (Unfortunately, not fire powers...yet. I'll change that.) In the past, they hunted fire-conjurers to extinction, because we're dangerous. They should've made sure we were actually gone. If I get loose, they'll wish they had.
