When not writing poems, Lara Cilwik is trying to keep up with endless piles of laundry and dirty dishes. Her two older children (10 and 9) sometimes complain about finding a peanut-butter encrusted spoon in the silverware drawer. (The youngest child would probably complain too except for the fact that he can't talk yet and his baby spoons aren't used for peanut butter.) Mrs. Cilwik realizes the importance of clean cutlery, but acknowledges that her life is a work-in-progress. She would like to thank her detail-oriented husband for helping her dot her i's and cross my t's. Above all, she would like to thank God for being true and for drawing her to truth.
