Overview

It was dark and gloomy inside the Unknown Forest. The sunlight found it hard to shine through the thick leafy branches of the towering trees to the ground below. There was thick moss growing on all of the rocks, which made them very slippery, especially for the three young Corgwyn and their short legs. Derwen, Caradog and Tipyn had kept walking deeper and deeper into the forest, afraid to return to the meadow, for they feared the snarling dogs of the Human Kind would be waiting for them.

My love of Corgis began some 55 years, ago and since that time I have owned and bred many wonderful little characters who have filled my life with love, loyalty and fun!!I am also of Celtic and Welsh heritage and I enjoy researching the old myths and legends of Scotland, Ireland and Wales. There is something in these legends that spoke to me from a young age and I have eagerly read many stories over the years.I decided to combine my love of Corgis and the ancient legends and write this story. Indeed, there is an old Welsh legend that tells of the Tylwth Teg - the fairy folk of Wales - riding Corgis into battle.And I believe that children in these times need some magic in their lives, and what better way to bring it to them than by introducing Tipyn and his brothers and their adventures with the Tylwth Teg?
