OverviewThe Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a network built with sensor nodes that are densely deployed in unattended environments. The data that is sensed by the sensor nodes hops to reach the requested destination. The recent advancement in technology had made a tremendous growth in the data that is produced through the WSN. This data together form the big data. The big data generated from the WSN is called big sensor data. This big sensor data is prone to many errors which may be induced either naturally or through intruders. There are many types of errors that may occur in the big sensor data but only four types of errors are considered for evaluation. WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK The wireless trend emerged in 1980s as wireless voice networks. The concept of wireless data networks emerged in 1999. The WSN is also known as Ubiquitous Sensor Networks (USN). WSN is a group of spatially dispersed and dedicated sensor hubs for monitoring and recording the requested happenings and the recorded values are transferred to the nearest base station or the requested node for further processing. These sensor nodes are densely placed or dropped into unattended environment where human cannot intervene. The sensor nodes are deployed on land, underground and underwater.
