Overview
This is a Gospel Harmony specially made for LDS readers. It contains the gospels found in the New Testament in four column format for a quick verse comparison. The Joseph Smith Translation(JST) is inserted into the King James(KJV) text in bold underline, with deleted words in the KJV in strike-through to facilitate deeper study of the JST. Relevant quotations from the Doctrine and Covenants and Book of Mormon at the end of various portions of the text help clarify or add insight into some passages. Verses are aligned for deep study of passages side by side while at the same time providing a greater sense of context. The reader can see not only how the gospel writers word similar ideas differently, but also see how they complement each other to provide a more complete picture of the various gospel scenes. In addition, the format automatically aligns the gospels in a chronology that further helps the reader to develop a greater sense of the life of Christ. Readers interested in the differences between gospel writers will also not leave the text disappointed. It contains an appendix that includes a few comparisons of similar passages that are not aligned chronologically but provide useful insights to each other. Also included in the appendix is a quick guide to the features of the King James Bible and Joseph Smith translation that every reader should know. This volume will significantly enhance the study experience of anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of the four gospels. A table of contents by heading and one by verse is included for quick reference.

Justin Bellville grew up near Sacramento California reading the scriptures around the breakfast table with his 5 siblings. He is married and is a father of 4 children. Justin has served many years teaching Sunday school and other gospel related classes. His writing has come as an outgrowth of deepening his own personal scripture study and providing material to help others in their own study. Justin received a bachelor of mathematics and a master of education. Professionally, Justin has spent much of his adult life engaged as a math teacher in public schools.
