Darwin H. Easter, Jr., Ph.D., is a graduate of Jacksonville State University (BS 1971), Bethany Divinity College and Seminary (M.Min 1996), and (Ph.D. 2008). He attended Tennessee Temple Seminary working towards a M.Div. (1975-1977). He has been in the ministry to date (2022) for 47 years, beginning in 1975, and has served as pastor for churches in Tennessee, Georgia, Indiana, and Alabama. He also served as General Director of Good Shepherd Baptist Missions from 1993 to 2015, when he retired. His adult secular work included Industrial Management with Deering Milliken textiles, Electronic Technician with U.S.A.F, and Instructor of Electronics and Business Administration at Indiana Vocational Technical College. Virginia Meige Easter is a graduate of Jacksonville State University (BS 1966), Bethany Divinity College and Seminary (MA 2009). She taught English and Math classes in public schools from 1968 to1974 when she began teaching in Christian schools. In about 1988, she began working as a church secretary, and then from 1993 to 2015 served as Executive Secretary for Good Shepherd Baptist Missions. She authored THOSE DETERMINED EASTERS and edited, formatted, and led in the publication of THE KELLY-JOHNSON CLAN. She did all the graphic artwork and production of study books for Missionary Training Schools and Pastor's Training Schools (about 205 pages each) for Good Shepherd Baptist Missions. She is an excellent Bible teacher, soloist, piano, and organ player.
