Author Information

Marilyn Pattison has taught for 30 years. She taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, and was a Reading Specialist for 21 years. She originally wrote ABC Sing With Me to teach children letters and sounds. Her latest book is a follow up that teaches colors and numbers and corresponding words. The music is transcribed in the books and is the same tune as the one in the ABC book. Marilyn is married, has 3 adult children, and 3 granddaughters. She currently volunteers in the urban core of Kansas City to help children get a strong reading foundation. She gives God the glory for the inspiration and completion of her books. She is thrilled when she hears and sees that her books have helped children learn and that they are her granddaughters' and other children's favorite books!
