OverviewThe Colt Root Sidehammer is a small caliber revolver that appeared fairly early in the history of Colt firearms. They were the second least manufactured revolver in the Colt lineup. They were not a popular model. They certainly are not up there with the other percussion Colts, the Single Action Armies, the double actions, or the fine automatics that Colt has manufactured.
