Reviews

Unreservedly I endorse this contemporary resource for the therapist-in-training and more seasoned sexual and relationship therapists. This comprehensive and thoroughly updated text offers diagnostic and treatment protocols with many practical tips, guidance, and numerous tools providing the clinician with everything needed for a systemic approach to therapy. The text attends to many of the issues in contemporary sex therapy, especially sexual diversity, using the latest literature as well as suggesting a plethora of psychoeducational print and internet-based sources of information for clients. - Professor Kevan Wylie, MD, FRCP, FRCPsych, FRCOG, FECSM, is a recently retired consultant in sexual medicine, Sheffield, England and immediate past president of the World Association for Sexual Health. The authors, who are world class researchers and clinicians, have produced a new edition of a masterpiece that has inhabited bookshelves of both beginners and seasoned experts for over a decade. This text is truly an outstanding resource and is not only well-written, but chock full of clinical acumen and excellent case examples. It will certainly remain my 'go to source' for years to come. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is serious about conducting sex therapy. - Frank M. Dattilio, PhD, ABBP, is a leading figure in cognitive-behavior therapy and is affiliated with the Departments of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
