Author Information

Born in 1938, Hilda Cochrane turned the pressure to go to secretarial college to advantage when she began drafting poetry at her typewriter. Her husband's career took her and their three young children overseas, followed by further travels with her second husband, living across Cumbria, Wales and Scotland before ultimately retiring to France and Spain. Hilda's lifelong journey with writing included graduating from Open University with a BA in English Literature in her early sixties. Hilda now lives in Devon. This is her first published collection of poetry.
