Overview

Here is a book for traditional Catholic families! It is designed to be read aloud, one chapter a week. However, older children may read it alone. The book follows the liturgical calendar, beginning with Advent. It discusses the hows and whys of the various holy seasons of the year. In addition, a large portion of the book is dedicated to teaching virtues expected of children: Why should you obey your parents, why you should respect the elderly, patience, kindness, etc. Each chapter is only two to three pages, giving the family time to discuss the readings without taxing the short attention spans of the children for whom this book is written, ages 8 - 14.
