​This book, A Case Study of Tihar Central Jail (Delhi) 2022: Human Rights of Women Convicts, examines the human rights of female inmates at Tihar Central Jail. It argues that incarcerated women face ""double marginalization"" from both the law and society, highlighting the gap between constitutional theory and the reality of women's rights in India. The study, based on interviews and questionnaires with inmates, finds that many women prisoners are unaware of their human rights.
