I recommend this book because of its careful, biblically sound treatment of an important theological and ministerial issue. In respectful but straightforward fashion C. Adrian Thomas discusses some of the misunderstandings that arise from biblical warnings addressed to Christian communities in the book of Hebrews and elsewhere in the New Testament. His diligent study of the key passages and their history of interpretation over the centuries provides a cogent and wide-ranging evaluation of competing viewpoints. Author Information

The Author: C. Adrian Thomas is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, where he received his Master's degree in theology and Ph.D. in New Testament Studies. He has taught Bible and theology for several years at the Midland Bible Institute in Jamaica, and has also served as pastor at the Pitfour Gospel Chapel in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Dr. Thomas is a member of the First Baptist Church of Forney, Texas, and serves as part of the leadership team in the church's discipleship program.
