Spend an autumn morning in the mountains with Amos and follow him step by step as he hand makes a new broom for Ma, his wife of 60 years. Hollow Handcrafts hopes to carry on the Appalachian tradition of broom making. Owner, Curt Cable, hunts for interesting handles in his area of southeastern Ohio. Rhonda Cable is a former elementary educator with a love for all things Appalachian. She lives in southeastern Ohio with her two children and her broom making husband. Jackie Duffy is a retired teacher with roots deep in the Wayne National Forest of Southeastern Ohio. She now lives God's good life on the West Coast of California as a ""Grandmother extraordinaire"" to Andrew and with Jim, her best friend and biggest fan.
