Author Information

Yuet Wah Cheung received his B.S.Sc. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. An active researcher in the drug field, he is currently a professor in the Department of Sociology, CUHK. He has published two books and numerous journal articles or book chapters. He is a member of the Research Advisory Group of the Narcotics Division. In 2008, he was awarded a Medal of Honor by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR for his contribution in studying the substance abuse problem in Hong Kong.
