Author Information

Maxwell Meltzer, a Jewish boy from Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York, was raised by immigrant Russian parents who spoke very little English. Moving to Los Angeles in 1946 after graduating high school, he attended LACC and Cal State Northridge receiving a BA degree in Accounting. Accepted as a member of the Director's Guild of America - DGA in 1978, he went onto work in the TV and Motion Picture Industry for over 50 years traveling internationally on numerous productions. Currently residing in Los Angeles and is a retired/active member of the Director's Guild of America as a production manager.
