""This bibliography represents a compilation of most accessible Methodist materials found in the libraries of Woodruff and Pitts (Candler) at Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.; The University of Georgia, Athens, Ga.; Wesleyan College, Macon, Ga.; Young-Harris College, Young Harris, Ga.; and Erskine College, Due West, S.C. ""Materials here are by no means complete, but include the major works on record concerning Methodist churches, pastors, and educators in Georgia. In 1981, efforts were made through the Wesleyan Christian Advocate to gain current data from United Methodist pastors. A thorough attempt was also made to locate the non-current vite of former teachers in the Candler School of Theology. Both efforts were unsuccessful, and their inadequacies represented here."" Entries are arranged alphabetically by the surname of the author or editor, and include the author's or editor's full name, title of the publication, publisher, date, and number of pages. ""In most cases, where information was available, works are listed by the author or editor and not the specific dates of a publication (as in the case of the Conference Journals)."" A list of Conference and Conference-related records that were not located is also included.
