A Bee on Meat is a children's book that teaches phonics and improves reading fluency for children aged 3-6. Published by Fawniks Books, the book is about a gutsy and one of a kind Baby Bee that is hooked on meat. Everyone thinks she is weird until, one day, a big storm comes and wreaks havoc in Bee City. The mean storm even threatens King Bee and Queen Bee's being. Now, the fate of Bee City and perhaps all 'beekind' rests on the beefy flight muscles of Baby Bee. The book zeroes in on the long e vowel and the various letters or combinations of letters often used to spell that vowel such as 'e', 'ee', 'ea', 'ey' and 'y'. At the end of the book, there's a comprehension quiz, a spelling quiz and a coloring task for the youngsters to enjoy. The book comes with Answer keys.
