Additionally, she has taught creative writing to adults and institutionalized teens. She is a certified clinical social worker, and in 2001 founded and co-published a small town newspaper, a major joy and adventure in community enterprise. Paula grew up in Orange County, California and lived 32 years in North Manchester, Indiana. She and her husband now live in Forest Grove, Oregon.
