Author Information

Catherine Barr is a prolific non-fiction natural history writer and former Greenpeace campaigner. She writes illustrated books to spark conversation and curiosity, and loves to work closely with local experts on her books. Her books include: The Story of Life (Francis Lincoln) the 10 Reasons to Love series (having the Natural History Museum's imprimatur), Bloomsbury's Fourteen Wolves, The Tigers' Tale and many other books about animals around the world. Harriet Hobday developed her love of storytelling doing the MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and is now based in Edinburgh. She is the illustrator of Wild Cities and Wild Family (Puffin) and All Through The Night (Nosy Crow). She was selected for The Bookseller's Illustrator Showcase and The Cheltenham Illustration Awards, was runner up in The Batsford Prize, and has been highly commended in 'The Macmillan Prize' for Children's Illustration.
