Dove, who was the 2011 and 2012 Ohio State Teacher of the Year, where he was a 7th and 8th grade teacher. He has also been an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University. Since retirement from K-12, Tim has been a consultant with Battelle for Kids in Hong Kong, Learning Forward, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), and the Collaboration for Effective Education, Development, Accountability and Reform (CEEDAR) Center. Author Information

Timothy M. Dove is the 2011 and 2012 Ohio State Teacher of the Year. For 32 years Tim was a 7th and 8th grade teacher. He also was an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University for 20 years, working with secondary social studies MEd students. During the last seven years of his K-12 career, he was part of a leadership team that designed a new public middle school with an emphasis on student voice, student choice, mastery, and a connection to community and service. Since retirement from K-12 in 2013, he has been a consultant with Battelle for Kids in Hong Kong, Learning Forward, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), and the Collaboration for Effective Education, Development, Accountability and Reform (CEEDAR) Center, working with educators to better serve each and every student.
