Overview

An ordinary Mormon boy finds himself doing extraordinary things in a land far from home; Pete's decision to leave his loved ones and all things familiar, becomes one of the greatest challenges he would ever face. The boundaries of his comfort zone are put to the test as he endeavors to seek out and find those who are searching for answers to the many questions that arise as we all sojourn through this mortal life; at the same time, he develops a deeper understanding of those things, and discovers a mighty change within himself. Author Information

Peter J. Morris completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in Japanese Language and History at The University of Oregon. He is currently the Executive Director of International Programs and Associate Professor of Japanese History at the University of Shiga Prefecture. Peter served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons) in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. This experience has helped him to have a desire to readily share his testimony, and prepared him to serve in various capacities in the Church both at home in the States, and also in Japan.
