G. Prabhakar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai - 15 (A Govt. Aided Autonomous Institution Affiliated to Anna University) Tamilnadu, India. he started his career as a DSP Design Engineer in Venmsol Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Chennai. There, he carried out iCanTek Korean Client projects in the domain of H.264 High definition standard video streaming for Network IP camera and involved in the design & development of PCM based face recognition algorithms. After two years, he change-over his career and started to work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Syed Ammal Engineering College, Ramanathapuram. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the year of 2018 under the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Anna University, Chennai. After his Ph.D, he worked as an Associate Professor in the department of EEE, VSB Engineering College, Karur, for a period 3 years. His areas of interest are Embedded Systems, Cyber Physical Systems, Robotics & Control, Nonlinear Control Systems, Mechatronics and Image & Signal processing.
