Michael Francis is a Business and Human Resources Executive with a unique background combining strong business acumen, HR Administration, strategic corporate planning, finance, project management, and leadership skills. He is a collaborative HR leader with a history of partnering closely with business executives, Finance, Operations, Leadership Teams, and HR to build and leverage critical business relationships across small and large organizations. As Corporate Controller, Michael led an FP&A team (@Amgen) that strategically managed a $500M annual operating expense budget. As a senior HR Leader, he served as HR Chief of Staff at two different Fortune 500 companies reporting directly to the HR SVP (@AECOM) & CHRO (@AMD); led several corporate career development, organizational restructuring, and talent management initiatives (@Dell); led a diverse HRBP team, acted as global HR Administrator and simultaneously supported two GMs responsible for major business segments generating $16.4B in revenue with a client base of 36K full-time staff. Michael has led and been a key contributing member on various highly confidential and transformative corporate projects and initiatives at four Fortune 500 companies in four different business industries. He has held Finance, Accounting, and HR roles in the Federal (@IRS) and municipal (@City of Austin) governments. As an Executive Advisor, he consulted in a CHRO capacity for a top-rated US Ecommerce company building out the entire HR operating platform. Currently, Michael is the Founder and CHRO of BEAM Executive Advisors, LLC. BEAM provides a breadth of strategic Human Capital Employee Life Cycle advisory services helping leaders and organizations succeed by putting their People First.
