Overview

This poetry collection is rooted in Korean identity and shaped by experiences gained through traveling the world, capturing diverse cultures and emotions in poetic form. Living across different languages and environments, these poems record the emotional landscape of an individual life-identity, happiness and sorrow, loneliness and love, encounters and partings. At the same time, they observe emotions that are not limited to a specific place or culture, but are deeply universal. Originally written in Korean, this work has been translated into four languages: Korean, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. While each version carries the same emotional core, the expression and resonance expand uniquely through each language. Viewing the world through a Korean perspective, this collection moves beyond borders and languages, leaving space for readers from diverse backgrounds to reflect their own experiences within the poems. Rather than offering clear answers, this book seeks to quietly accompany the emotions that everyone encounters at least once in the course of living.
