In their service to the Gospel as educators, Catholic teachers are on the front lines of the New Evangelization. These reflections by Catholic teachers offer daily help to those who share in this important mission to keep their focus on Jesus Christ, Word and Wisdom made Flesh, and so embody his truth and love to those they serve. --Most Rev. Kevin C. Rhoades, Bishop of Fort Wayne-South Bend In the chaos of the classroom, it is easy to lose sight of what matters most. 5 Minutes with the Psalms and the Wisdom Books is a great addition to the desk of the busy teacher, who even when busy, needs to be still and rest in the presence of the Lord. I love the brevity, clarity, wit, and wisdom of these reflections written by teachers in the trenches. Each one is a reminder of the most important job we have as educators: to bring our students close to the heart of Jesus and simply be with him. It is not only a valuable resource but a great gift to any and all who find themselves with a classroom of students yearning for the Truth. --Katie Prejean McGrady, Freshman theology teacher and author of Room 24 The smart teacher provides mere facts while the wise teacher adeptly applies such information to invite students to consider the awesome truth of God and the enduring realities of eternity. This book will draw any teacher to a finer appreciation and respect for the Lord's timelessly divine wisdom, thus allowing educators to better profess and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ for their students' ultimate well-being. --Justin McClain, Theology teacher and author of Called to Teach
