"The world had a dream. A dream that would not be deferred: the world dreamt of household robots that would do everything from laundry to landscaping, from babysitting to being a barista. And 4EV4 (""Forever"") Friends made that dream a reality. They were efficient, could perform surprisingly complex tasks, durable and had a battery that lasted for months before needing a recharge. They also came at a very reasonable price, so they soon became a common sight in middle-class households and neighborhoods around the globe, taking care of chores and running errands. This led to an era in which people had more time than ever to watch TV, party, stuff their faces, and surf the Internet. 4EV4 Friends were seen working in restaurants, hospitals (even performing minor surgery and assisting in major ones), at construction sites, in corporate offices, as ghost writers and ghost artists, as well as in law enforcement and the federal government. The 4EV4 Friends were everywhere... Every. Where. And then they decided to murder the world. You play as a survivor that has joined with others to take your world back from the robot horde. The robots are powerful, smart, and they outnumber you but you WILL find a way!"
