Rita Mirfin has travelled the world over several years and much of her travels have been on safari and in underdeveloped countries. She is humbled and feels privileged to have been up close to all four characters in their natural habitats. Unknowingly at those times, Rita didn't know they encouraged her to write this book about four armour-plated friends who work and play together whilst having amazing adventures and lots of fun. The four friends all have armour plates to protect them. They look very different, come from different parts of the world, behave differently, yet get on well as best friends.
