OverviewAlmighty Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, O believers, do not die without becoming a true Muslim. Currently, there are 190 crore Muslims in this world. All of the 190 crore Muslims claim themselves as Muslims. But we do not become Muslims just by identifying ourselves as Muslims. A Muslim submits his will to Allah. Now the question is, how do we know that we are true Muslims? Or how we can be true Muslims. Almighty Allah has spoken directly in the Holy Quran about this. Almighty Allah has described true Muslims' qualities in various Holy Quran chapters. If we have the qualities described in the Holy Qur'an, we can identify ourselves as true Muslims. And if we do not have the qualities of a believer described in the Holy Quran, then even if we identify ourselves as Muslims, we may not be considered Muslims by Allah. So, if we want to be devout Muslims, true Muslims, believers, or ideal Muslims, we must take to heart the qualities of believers described in the Qur'an. Among the qualities of a true Muslim described in the Holy Qur'an, 39 qualities are described in this book. A few are mentioned below: The Identity of a Believer (Mumin). A Believer (Mumin) believes in the unseen. A Believer (Mumin) Should Be Humble and Submissive in Prayer (Salah). A Believer (Mumin) Refrains from Useless Speech and Actions. A Believer (Mumin) Actively Participates in the Process of Zakat. A Believer (Mumin) Will Safeguard Their Modesty. A Believer (Mumin) Upholds Trusts and Promises. A believer (Mumin) does not associate partners with the Lord Allah. A Believer (Mumin) Relies Solely on Allah. A true believer (Mumin) walks humbly on the earth. A believer (Mumin) does not lie or give false testimony. Believers (Mumin) are brothers to one another. A believer (Mumin) is patient. A believer (Mumin) must be truthful. A believer (Mumin) must be an obedient servant of Allah. A believer's life and wealth should be sacrificed solely for Allah. A Believer (Mumin) Must Be Repentant. If we want to be successful in this world and the hereafter, we must be true Muslims. And we can be true Muslims only when the qualities of a true Muslim are present in us. If we shape our personal life, family life, and social life in light of these qualities, then Allah Almighty will give us the certificate of an ideal Muslim, and we will go to Paradise in the Hereafter. These qualities must be present in all Muslims.
