Kate Katcher's works include Judith Keith, based on Berthold Brecht's The Jewish Wife, A Fox in the Henhouse (formerly The Little Sisters of Littleton), FutureFest Finalist in 2022, the stage version of 36, winner of the Dorothy Silver Playwriting Competition, and more. Short plays include Scarsdale (Best Ten-Minute Plays -2021), Bread (Laughter is the Best Medicine), both published by Smith & Kraus. Blue Sky with Approaching Storm (Ageless), published by ArtAge Senior Resource Center, Missus Dobbs, American, Thanksgiving at Shady Pines, Layover at Reagan National, Aftershock, Inclination, Bassinette, A Nice Drive, and Planning Ahead, each with multiple productions. Kate is a member of The Actor's Studio Playwright/Directors Unit, Theatre Artists Workshop, Dramatists Guild and Connecticut Theatre Women Network.
