She began writing poetry when she was five years old, using first the Gothic alphabet, and then, when she was six, Latin.Ms. Uricariu's literary debut took place in 1966. It was hailed by poets in her home country and abroad, and on Radio Free Europe, as a ""tragic, mature poetry, that addresses profound questions."" Ştefan Baciu, the director of the Hawaiian magazine Mele, translated and published many of the adolescent writer's poems. Ms. Uricariu soon after received First Prize in the South American Literature Festival for one of her poems, which was translated into ten languages. As an adolescent, her poetry was honored with the National Student Award for Literature, and the Nicolae Labiş National Award for Poetry. 陈晓颖女士拥有英国巴斯大学高等翻译硕士学位,并在中国北京语言大学获得外国语言学及应用语言学硕士学位。本科阶段,她先后五年在哈尔滨工业大学获得两个学士学位,所学专业分别为英语和国际金融。陈女士拥有丰富的教学经验,曾兼职在北京城市学院、北京语言大学外语学院任教,并拥有丰富的口笔译实践经验,与中国与很多机构都有过合作。在2019年北京国际园艺博览会事务协调局工作的三年中,她一直担任美洲、大洋洲及国际组织的小组负责人,负责美洲、大洋洲国家及国际组织的招展及参展服务工作,借调期间,曾与国内外各企事业单位、中国国家部委、外国驻华使馆、外国相关主责部门以及外国媒体有过密切的沟通与合作。Ms. CHEN Xiaoying holds a M.A. degree in Interpreting and Translation from the University of Bath/Great Britain. In China she received a M.A. degree in Foreign and Applied Linguistics from Beijing Language and Culture University, and two degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology: a B.A. Management and International Finance, and a B.A. degree in English. Additionally, she completed training sessions with U.N. in Vienna, with the Ministry of Education in China, with London Chamber of Commerce and with Beijing Language and Culture University (Japanese).Ms. CHEN Xiaoying collected eight awards in national translations competitions in China for both English to Chinese and Chinese to English, as well as being a jury member in the 2nd and 3rd edition of the China Cross Strait Interpretation Contest (North China Division). She translated into the Chinese four volumes of prose by authors from the West as well as various translation manuals, with Shanghai Translation Publishing House, Guomai Culture Group, Tianjin People Publishing House, Douban E-readers, and Chinese Translation Publishing House.
