Natascha Kampusch was born on February 17th, 1988, in Vienna. At the age of ten, she became victim to what proved to be one of the longest abductions in recent history. In 2006 she gained her freedom. On the day she escaped, her abductor, Wolfgang Priklopil, committed suicide by throwing himself under a train. Since then Natascha has been trying to live a normal life. In spring 2010, she graduated from college. Jennifer Scapetis-Tycer grew up in Australia and trained and worked in London before coming to live in the U.S. Jennifer completed her acting training at ArtsEd, London, and has worked in theater, TV, and radio drama in the U.K., with theater credits including A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Illegals. She trained as a voice, text, and dialect coach at London's Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has coached professionally at theaters in the U.S. and U.K. She is an assistant professor in residence teaching voice and speech in the Department of Dramatic Arts at the University of Connecticut.
