Author Information

Suresh C. Pillai obtained his PhD from Trinity College Dublin Ireland and performed his post-doctoral research at Caltech, USA. He currently  heads   the Nanotechnology and Bio-Engineering Research Group at Institute of Technology Sligo in Ireland. Prof. Pillai is an elected fellow of the Royal Microscopical Society (FRMS) and the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM).  He is the recipient of several innovation awards including the 2019 Boyle-Higgins award from the Institute of Chemistry Ireland. Priyanka Ganguly is a Postdoctoral researcher working on the fabrication of 2D materials for energy and environmental applications in the school of engineering of University of Glasgow. She graduated with a PhD in Nanotechnology from Institute of Technology Sligo, Ireland, in 2021, and has authored more than 25 research articles, book chapters and review articles.
