Julien Magnat is a film and television screenwriter and director. He has a degree in film studies from the University of Reading in England and studied at the FEMIS Film School in Paris. Anne Collins Smith is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Classical Studies at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She met her husband, author Owen Smith, in logic class while they were both undergraduates. They ended up receiving doctorates from the interdisciplinary program in philosophy and classics at the University of Texas at Austin, she with a dissertation on Aquinas and he with a dissertation on Gnosticism.
