Dr. Nisreen Husain has been part of the Higher Education system in Chhattisgarh (formerly Madhya Pradesh) since 1984, serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology at Govt. P.G. College, Durg. A Gold Medalist in her Master's, her research focuses on antioxidants and medicinal plants. She has authored research reference books, completed projects, and published extensively. Honoured with 13 national and international awards, Dr. Husain is also a passionate artist and poet. Her poetry explores light emotional themes and embraces positivity, reflecting her creative spirit beyond academia.
