Overview

這個集子，是笔者於2001年10月創辦《華人》雜誌後，在無比繁忙的工作中，抽出時間寫出的，也可以說，在十幾位封面故事作家參與雜誌寫作之前，採訪和寫作封面故事也是笔者雜誌工作中的一部分，更是雜誌的重頭戲。在《華人》二十多年250期的封面故事中，由笔者撰寫的大致七十篇左右。這一集是笔者從中選出的三十篇，是2001年創刊到2011年十年間的部分作品。 雖然這些封面故事已經是十年二十多年前寫的，但編這本集子，又讓笔者把他們認真通讀了一遍，依然感覺從這些封面人物身上，感受到激勵和鼓舞。因此，沒有任何增刪，笔者把這些封面故事原樣交給讀者。

馬平（Ping Ma），祖籍山東。曾任教於河南大學教育系。1994年5月來美。先在某華人報社任編輯，2001年10月創辦美國《華人》雜誌至今，是美國境內唯一一份以華人人物為主要內容的綜合性月刊。現任《華人》傳媒發行人和總編。
