Scott A. Cunneen, MD, FACS, is Director of Bariatric Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University, where he was awarded membership in the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Neil M. Scheffler, DPM, FACFAS, is a podiatrist in private practice in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a past president for Health Care and Education of the American Diabetes Association, Mid-Atlantic Region. Dr. Scheffler is a well-known researcher, speaker, and author on the diabetic foot. Jill Weisenberger, MS, RDN, CDE, FAND, is a certified diabetes educator and registered dietitian who has counseled thousands of individuals wishing to develop healthier habits and live healthier lives. Her articles and recipes have appeared in a variety of publications, including Diabetic Living, Diabetes Monitor, and EatingWell.
