मारोठ (राजस्थान) में 29 मार्च 1951 में जन्मी पूजाश्री ने साहित्य से एम.ए. किया है। 1964 में प्रथम रचना प्रकाशित तब से निरन्तर लेखन व देश की प्रमुख पत्र-पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित। काव्य संग्रह पनघट (1985), रेखाएं (1988), रेत हैं रतनाली (1989), देश मेरे (1996), मेरे आराध्य (भक्ति गीत संग्रह), राम कथा और तुलसीदास (मानस संगम-कानपुर द्वारा 1997 का साहित्य पुरस्कार), पनघट को अखिल भारतीय काव्य स्पर्धा में प्रथम स्थान, मानव कल्याण संघ साहित्य लोक (उ.प्र.) द्वारा साहित्यश्री से अलंकृत, 1988 में श्रेष्ठ राजस्थानी गीतों के लिए जनपदीय सम्मान। इन दिनों मुंबई में रहकर लेखन कर रही हैं। कई काव्य संग्रह, कहानी संग्रह, उपन्यास शीघ्र आने वाले हैं।
