Ensuring these youngsters feel heard and valued, while also guiding their thinking and perceiving towards their bigger picture, their dreams and goals, their development in character as budding young women and men, is what wakes her up every morning. She has had the opportunity of serving within the youth services community for 11 going on 12 years in a variety of settings. Her gift of communicating in a language that young people can understand is God-given and she takes her role as role model to heart shown in every interaction she has with these youngsters - be it face to face, or through her writings. This book, and any future books, is her giving back by way of shared time and wisdom to a community that not only changed her personally and revealed her purpose, but one that also molded her into the beacon of inspiration she is for children and teens alike today.
