She moved to Northern California at the age of eighteen and has been living in Humboldt County for 18+ years. She is an equestrian & author among other things. Stevie Lou earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Wildlife Management with an emphasis in Wildlife Disease Ecology and also has a background in Studio Art. She currently has two horses, a lovely reining mare and a young mustang that she is training with a mentor. She has rented pastures and done full care. She currently boards one horse across the fence and keeps one at home. Stevie Lou is the Assistant Barn Manager at her neighbor's boarding stables where she mucks stalls, provides horse care, and assists in horse management design such as fencing, arena maintenance, etc.. Stevie Lou has been involved with her local pony club and saddle clubs where she coordinated horse events from planning & publicizing to show secretary. When she is not working she can probably be found at the barn. When she is not working or at the barn she might be writing, probably something about horses.
