Gene Hagerty Lapensee was born in California in 1963 and moved to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1971. He has four brothers and one sister, and his parents had a large, five-bedroom house. He currently lives in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He has no children. He has worked at various jobs in shipping and small offices. He was painting abstract expressionism for some time, but nothing fit to sell.
