Author Information

The writer, Charlie Pearlman is one of the few Baby Boomers living in Southern California, who was actuality born there. Maybe he never had the good sense to get out. He's a father of 4, living in Newport Beach, California. A life-long student and entrepreneur, he's currently working in the Financial Industry. He's never missed a chance to vote, and more specifically to vote for the Democrat every single time. Although his dad was a Merchant Marine and served in the South Pacific during WWII, his mother certainly never raised him to be a soldier. He was lucky to avoid the Vietnam draft when the Draft Lottery missed him by 3 days, while around that time a lot of his radical political persuasions were developing during his college years at UC Berkeley. His highest military achievement was in the Cub Scouts where he proudly earned a Wolf patch for camping. He's very concerned about environmental issues, and a true believer in science and research, two very important subjects for the survival and betterment of mankind.
