He competed nationally until 1995 and is now a professional skating coach and choreographer. He studied art and creative writing at the Ontario College of Art and Design and later began to show his work in many galleries throughout Toronto. Ed's art has largely been inspired by his own poetry and writing, which draws upon urban life and human observation. Now, as a father, the stories and experiences he shares with his daughter are expressed and illustrated humorously in his children's books.
